SEMO Raceway
Race Results June 21, 2003
We at SEMO Raceway, extend a huge Thank You to all the racers and families who support
our facility. Racers from several states entered to race Saturday night competing for the
checkered flag win but also trying to earn some extra track points with the Double Point race.
Dusty Baggett of Paducah, KY once again found his way back to Victory Lane taking the
feature win in the Stock Heavy Class, holding the kart of Glenn Vann of Collierville, TN to a 2nd
place finish. Tom Roslen took home the very respectable 3rd. Stock Medium had Jason
Randolph of Metropolis, IL taking the checkered flag lap, finishing ahead of Sean O’Brien of
Paducah, KY who came in 2nd place.
O’Brien again took a respectable 2nd place in the Stock Light class finishing behind Joe
Warren of Symsonia, KY.
Over 35 class had Ronald Dix taking his first victory lap at Semo this season, holding the kart
of Glenn Vann of Collierville, TN to a 2nd place finish. The highly competitive Star Champs
racers from Kentucky paid another visit to the raceway Saturday night with Cary Lowens taking
first place and Derek Riley finishing 2nd.
Jr. Stock Class had David Harkness of Atoka, TN taking his first feature win this season with
Justin Barnes of New Madrid finishing 2nd . Lynda Blanke of Festus, MO would take the 3rd
place finish. Jr. Champ class was won by Jarred Hendrickson of Gilbertsville, KY. Jr.
Sportsman Champ Class had Colby Burge of Cape Girardeau back in victory lane while
holding Taylor Burge of Puxico to a 2nd spot finish and Mason Oberkramer from Broseley
finishing 3rd. Shawn Knuckles of Poplar Bluff returned to victory lane in the Rookie class,
placing Mason Oberkramer 2nd and Alex Case of Bardwell, KY 3rd. The beginners Yard Kart
class of 6 to 8 year olds had a great time of racing with Destiney Scott of Jackson taking the
feature win holding the kart of Derrick Garner of Blodgett to a 2nd place finish, with Elijah King
from Risco finishing in 3rd.
