June 7 Results
Drivers and families came from Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri vying for the
checkered flag win at Semo Raceway Saturday night. With the most wonderful weather we’ve had
all summer, it make a gorgeous night for racing.
Stock Heavy had Dusty Baggett of Paducah taking his 3rd feature win this points season at Semo
holding the kart of Robert Lowery to a 2nd place finish. Abe Martin of Vienna would take home the
victory in the Stock Medium class with Sean O’Brien of Paducah taking 2nd. Darren Chapman of
Sikeston found his way to Victory Lane for his FIRST feature win at Semo in the Stock Light class
finishing ahead of Michael Grant who finished 2nd. Another Sikeston favorite, David Gonzales and
his “Sonic” crew made his way to victory lane for the first time this season holding the kart of Jackie
Finnell to a 2nd place finish.
Eric Harris of Murphysboro took the checkered flag victory in the Jr. Stock class with Lynda Blankey
of Festus taking 2nd spot. Jessica James of Searcy, AR took her first Feature win at Semo leading
the entire 15 lap feature race, holding Megan Skees of Benton, Ky to a 2nd place finish. “Birthday
Boy” Taylor Burge of Puxico celebrated his birthday with his FIRST FEATURE WIN in the Jr.
Sportsman Champ Class holding his cousin, Colby Burge, to a 2nd place finish. The Rookie Class
was won by Devin Fraser of Symsonia, Ky taking his 2nd feature win at Semo this season with
Channing Lang finishing in 2nd spot. Yard Kart Class had Destiny Scott of Jackson taking her 3rd
checkered flag victory this season at Semo holding the kart of Derrick Garner of Blodgett to a 2nd
place finish.
