SEMO Raceway invites you to come out and visit our multi racing facilities located on
State Highway U, just north of Sikeston, Missouri. We have so much to offer our racing
fans and competitors. Racers from all over the US have been competing at this track
since its formation in 1997.
Our 1/5 mile semi banked clay oval dirt track is designed for exciting racing for all ages
from 6 year old beginners to 70+ year old adults racing high powered Karts, Micro Sprints,
Quads & Motorcycles. Racing every Saturday evening with our season starting in April
and ending in October. The lighted facility sits on 23.5 acres of land offering great
concession, restrooms and a wonderful fenced in play area for the little ones as well as an
excellent pit area and plenty of spectator parking. General grand stand seating capacity
of 1,200 race fans, not including drivers and pit crews.
More great features that our oval track offers our Kart and Micro Sprint competitors, is our
state of the art computerized scoring system by AMB. (TransX 160 Transponders and
Orbits Software.) Full sound system throughout the facility as well as PA Announcing
transmitted via FM transmitter to your pit radios on station 88.1 on your FM dial.
Separate Tech Barn with official Tech on staff. Electronic Scales. E.M.T services on site
during all Heat and Feature racing.
Our FAMILY Oreinted facility provides a safe and competitive racing environment for the
racer, the racers family and crew, and the race fan. We want our facility to be user
friendly, both to the racer and race fans.
SEMO Raceway is growing! Bigger and Better each year. In the late 2003 racing season,
Mud and Sand Drags were added to the West end of the oval track. 200 feet of
thundering side by side racing that proved to be fun for all spectators and racers alike.
These events are held on Sundays with the race season starting in March. Drag racing
events offer concession, restrooms, free parking and event announcement over the PA
system. We also have handicap parking available.
In 2004 we added MOTOCROSS racing events on the North end of the Oval Track. Moto
Cross events will be held on Fridays with a pending schedule that will be announced
soon. These events will offer the extreme racing experience where you will see
motorcycles and ATV's flying through the air as they compete on the multi jump dirt track.
